Today was an eye-opener for me.
I was at work, a migraine was beginning and I spent time trying to convince some co-workers that my day wasn't stressful. I'll let you all decide for me:
Up at 5:45 (usually 7:30) to be out of the house with the older 2 by 6:45.
Bean to Cross Country practice at 7.
Run Dizzy to Walmart to get the running shoes she wanted (I did talk her into cross country, so thought I could buy her the shoes she liked)
Run Dizzy to Physical Therapy. She got to do a wall push up today, as well as a plank. She was very excited.
Run put gas in the car after PT, thought running out of gas would put a damper on the day.
Wait for Bean to finish CC, 15 minutes later than he thought.
Run kids home (it is now 8:30) and back into town for work at 9.
Get to work, discover that there are no carts to put the checked in books on.
Work a busy day where we don't have the usual number of staff.
The rest of the day was supposed to go like this:
Get home, take Bean to a trail work day from 3-6.
Feed rest of family, deal with Tater who had spent the night at a friends and is always cranky afterwards...
Back into town to get Bean, feed him and be at a Boy Scout Court of Honor by 7. That takes at least an hour and a half and then home to crash to do it all again tomorrow (although no PT tomorrow).
I lucked out that Bean wasn't feeling well, so no trail work and that gave me time to do dishes and relax a bit. Feeling a bit put out that my kitties are ignoring me (Mickey has not come out of his box since I got home...) but enjoying the beautiful sunshine and blue skies we have here today. Those were missing over the weekend and made me sad...
Bitsey likes the perch so she can see outside and kill any pesky flies.
Someone was up way too late last night, trying to find the perfect spot to sleep in my bed...
Be Happy! Be Healthy! Be sure to enjoy the last days of summer!
